Our Precious Java

We just found out today that our dog, Java has a very aggressive form of bladder cancer. She is 11 1/2 years old. The two veterinarians she saw today estimate she has from 1 week to 3 months to live. She is starting chemotherapy tonight. So far, her only real sign is her bleeding when she urinates. She is still happy, eating and drinking fine. The doctors promised me that the chemo won't make her sick. Bill and I discussed we won't let her suffer in anyway. She has been such a blessing in our lives. Thank you Leah for giving her to Geoff and thank you Geoff for letting dad and I adopt her. They say that God doesn't give you anymore than you can handle. I would like for Him to explain this one to me especially since I lost my horse only 5 weeks ago. I guess that is where faith comes in. God only knows.
