Good Bye Doves. Come back and see us. We have lots of food and water for you. We hope you have babies and bring them back too.....We love you.....Good Bye for now....xoxooxoxoxo
Hey Taryn: I appologize for never responding to your email from Geoff and Leah's family website. I never check our blog. I have never added anything to the site. You are right..we should post photos of our trips.
I check the kids site daily, including going to your site. We look forward to looking at the new pictures everyday.
We are so proud of Geoff & Leah, they make a wonderful couple and are great parents. It is nice to see young people who have it together. Audrey and Lauren are absolutely adorable! I bet you really enjoy your time with them. We would like to see them more often.
I am sure Geoff told you, Skipper was in the hosptial in Mexico and when we got home in April. He contacted a staph infection before we left home in March and the oral antibitics never kicked in. He ended up spending a week total in the hospital taking IV antibiotics for Bacteria Cellulitis. He has never been in a hospital before. He was a good patient but still not 100% His leg swells and he gets tired easily. As he says, what do you expect for a 72years old! Other then weight, he is in excellent health.
The real estate business in Amador County is slow like many areas. I am very thankful my office maintains #1 in the county. I have very hard working agents and of course they are all woman. They range in age from 32 to 65. Currently there are only 43 homes pending in the entire county. Of the 43 13 are properties that have been foreclosed on by the lenders. More foreclosure properties for sale then I have ever seen in my 28 year career. I still have all my agents and the two staff gals..we are paying the salaries. Many agents have left the business or taken second jobs. Skip still gets his monthly check for cleaning the parking lot..he loves telling people he gets paid to clean the parking lot.
We are taking our motorhome to Walker River in July. We spend on day a week with Skip's second cousins 7 year old son. He is going camping with us. Skip's cousin died @42years old 2 years ago in September. It hit the family very hard...we loved Michael very much. He is survived by his wife, 17 year old and 7 year old sons. We need to be there for Sandra and the boys. We have taken Jeremy in the motor home to the delta, the high sierra mountains and to the Jackson Casino R.V. park, which is a pretty nice park. They have walking trails, a great pool and it is close to home.
We have the Harris/Mendoza family reunion coming up the first Saturday in August. We have it at Detert park. Some family members are bringing their R.V.'s to spend the night at the Jackson Casino R.V. park. Don, Evelyn, Auntie Arlene (94 years old) and Sambo will be staying in our guest house. There are normally 30 to 40 family members who attend the reunion. It would be nice if Geoff, Leah and the girls could attend sometime. It is always the first Saturday in August. Brad & Jessica have come a few times and Dave has come a few time.
Enjoy your retirement! It looks like since you wrote in February Bill shaved the beard and cut his pony tail:).
My email address is gail@allpower.com. I check my email daily, unlike never checking our blog. I still have to figure out how to use the blog.
Take care and hope we can see the two of you on our next visit.
