High School Friends Get Together

We had a blast yesterday with a get together. We met at Andrea's house. Two of the women haven't seen each other in 30 years. We were all good friends in high school. In November "The Girls", which is about 30 of us will get together in Jackson for our yearly get together. I was so lucky to grow up in a small town (200 in the high school) and have such great friends who really do last a life time. Yes, my sister is one of my best friends......'Hi Tanya!'

the scones and muffins and they brought the fruit and juices. MMMMMGGGGGGOOOODDD! Ton-ie provided the coffee and everything else...and me.....well, I brought the roses from my rose garden!

We had fun catching up with each other on our lives, our families lives and our future plans. We had a great time and plan to get together more often for some fun stuff. It was a very nice time. Life seems to be going by so fast and it is important to get together with friends and family.

THANK YOU SO MUCH TON-IE' FOR PROVIDING SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PLACE FOR US TO GATHER.

Lauren had a blast this morning learning lots of stuff.
Here she is deciding what she is going to do to pick up the rings on the bottom. She started to put her head under water and then...................

She decided to pick up the rings with her feet. One smart cookie!

Lauren is learning to use her legs to push off the side of the pool. She really has strong legs.

Jack had enough. The water was too cold for him. Poor little guy.

This is Crusier. He is so cool. Ton-ie' rescued him from the river bottoms.

You should see Lauren in the water. She is a fish! I think she decided that she wasn't going to be shown up by big sister so she has decided to be really brave and go for it.
She will be swimming before the summer is over.

111 Degrees in Yuba City Today........What did we do?

Thank goodness for swimming pools!

We had lots of fun today. We cooled off in the pool.

Lauren had a diaper under her swim suite..............a super absorbant diaper.....check out her butt in the next picture! So funny!

We got a call from the breeder in Southern California who said if we want to get Bella on Saturday, they would meet us at the grapevine so we wouldn't have to drive all the way to San Diego on the 30th. So, Bill and I drove to the grapevine yesterday to pick Bella up. She is so tiny. Only about 2 pounds. She will be 8 weeks on Monday. She is so sweet and she really has a beautiful face. She loves her daddy!
